Academy Names Seven Authors Nicholl Fellowship Those who win

The Academy of movement Picture Arts and Sciences has named seven authors as those who win from the 26th annual Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. Each author (or writing team) will get a $30,000 prize, the very first installment that would be distributed in a gala dinner in Beverly Hillsides on November. 3. The those who win were selected from the record 6,730 scripts distribution. Your competition is available to anyone that has not offered or optioned a script or teleplay in excess of $5,000 or received a fellowship or prize which includes a "start lookingInch clause, a choice, or other quid professional quo including the author's work. The Nicholl Committee, chaired by producer Gale Anne Hurd, consists of authors Naomi Foner, Daniel Petrie Junior., Tom Rickman and Dana Stevens actor Avoi Marie Saint cinematographers John Bailey and Steven B. Poster costume designer Vicki Sanchez executive Bill Auto technician producers Peter Samuelson and Robert W. Shapiro marketing executive Buffy Shuttand agent Ronald R. Mardigian. Fellowships are granted using the knowning that the readers will each develop a feature-length script throughout their fellowship year. The Academy acquires no privileges towards the works of Nicholl guys and doesn't involve itself in a commercial sense by any means using their completed scripts. AMPAS
